Nuts & Bolts Packaging

A serialized packaging solution for hexagonal nuts + bolts where containers are unified through: // the Gestalt closure and continuation principles; // a vertical/horizontal plane rotational relationship; // a type-only treatment of the nut/bolt diameter, # of threads/inch, thread type and unit count. A cube for the nuts is evocative of its rotational quality and a rectangular container for the bolt where width is based on the golden-ratio; 3 x 3.5” and 5 x 3.5”, Helvetica, screen printed - student work
